Feast of All Souls
On Saturday, November 2nd, the Church celebrates the Feast of All Souls. On this day we pray for the souls in purgatory who are awaiting their eternal reward in heaven. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Catholics are encouraged to come to Mass and pray for their beloved dead. (If you haven’t filled out our page for the Book of Remembrance, please do so to ensure your loved ones will be remembered during the November Masses.)
Book of Remembrance
On the back table of the Church you will find blank pages for our November Book of Remembrance. November is the month when the Church remembers the souls of all of our beloved dead—especially those in purgatory and who are awaiting their eternal reward in heaven. Those whose names have been inscribed in our Book of Remembrance will be remembered at all of our Masses throughout the month of November. If you would like the names of your friends and relatives remembered at Mass throughout the month of November fill out the page and leave it on the table at the back of the Church.
